Occupational Therapists are Regulated

When looking for an occupational therapist, it is important to check that they are registered and licensed with the Nova Scotia Occupational Therapy Regulator.  

Only individuals who are registered and licensed with the Nova Scotia Occupational Therapy Regulator may use the title Occupational Therapist or OTThe Regulator maintains a code of ethics, practice standards, and guidelines that registrants must follow when practising occupational therapy in Nova Scotia. These standards are in place to ensure protection to the public through regulation.
