Competence Review and Competence Improvement

 Competence Review

The competence review assesses therapists' skills, knowledge, and judgement required to provide safe, effective, and ethical services and to identify those registrants who may require improvement to practice.  It will involve a two-step review process:

Competence Improvement

The peer assessment report will be reviewed by the Continuing Competency Committee.  The College will assist the therapist with developing an individualized improvement plan approved by the Committee.  The therapist will submit evidence that they have completed the individualized improvement plan to the College.
